I hope you're doing well! I can't believe the year is almost over...what a year! I wanted to drop you an email really quickly and let you know that I DID IT! I graduated!!! I am now officially a Registered Nurse as of last week. I couldn't have done it without your support. Thank you for everything you've helped me learn about myself and for all the encouragement along the way. I'm attaching some of my grad pics, just because. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season! (Yes, I'm still very much a little Grinch-y during the holidays, but that's a work in progress!)
It was great to see you last Saturday night. Seeing you gave me a wave of emotion and an internal acknowledgement of all that you took me through. I want to thank you for emotionally holding my hand through the most difficult time of my life. You were steady, strong, straight forward and honest with me; traits that I needed as my mental health was an emotional roller coaster. And here I am on the other side! I have a much more solid sense of self and more confidence than ever before in my life. J* and I have a fragile but respectful parenting relationship. I have been dating the man I introduced you to for about 6 weeks now, we are taking it slow and he treats me really well (plus I think he is super-cute ). Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you, and let you know how grateful I am for your guidance through the fog.
I cancelled my appointment this week because when I started to think about what I would talk about I realized I really didn't have anything. M* and I have been communicating very well and I am absolutely loving my job. I actually still really enjoy my other position too. So yeah, when I got down to thinking I realized I am actually well and truly HAPPY!! Yay! But the one thing I definitely wanted to say was THANK YOU! It has been a pleasure talking with you over the past year(ish) and I am so grateful for you helping me dig out of the pit I was in. I will be sure to reach out again if I need help, but for now, just thank you and best wishes.
